Each Team's 2013 Breakout Player: NFC North

Bears: Alshon Jeffery- After being drafted in the second round last year, Jeffery was expected to pair with Brandon Marshall as a forceful wide receiver duo. He only played in ten games due to injury and caught 24 passes for 367 yards and three touchdowns. He has great size (6'3", 216 lbs.) and potential. And with Cutler playing behind a more improved offensive line he'll have more time to throw and I expect Jeffery to step up in his sophomore season.
Other candidates: Jay Cutler and Shea McClellin
Lions: Nick Fairley- Fairley has so much potential but he's yet to reach it. He pairs with Ndamukong Suh to form arguably the best defensive tackle duo in the league. Fairley has deceptive quickness and athleticism for his size. Several reports from Lions camp say he's in the best shape of his young career. Fairley has all the skills to be a force and now that he appears to have his sights set on stepping up his game, I expect him to have a breakout year.
Other candidates: Ryan Broyles and Willie Young
Packers: Randall Cobb- Yes, Cobb had a really good season in 2012 and one could argue he's already had his breakout year. I beg to differ. Aaron Rodgers has said that Cobb is going to be a huge part of the offense and when you consider how versatile he is and the departure of Greg Jennings in free agency, it's easy to see him increasing his production in 2013.
Other candidates: Nick Perry and Jermichael Finley
Vikings: Erin Henderson- Entering his sixth season, Henderson is making the transition from outside linebacker to middle linebacker and, according to reports, he's doing so with flying colors. The Vikings signed Desmond Bishop to a one year deal in the offseason but it looks like Henderson has the starting middle linebacker role locked up. I expect him to produce significantly in 2013.
Other candidates: Jarius Wright, Everson Griffen, and Josh Robinson
